Community Work

The MCCC Lab, in addition to research, artistic and educational work, promotes student awareness in the role of music as a factor strengthening vulnerable groups in the community.

We actively collaborate with public entities and structures such as hospitals, psychiatric wards, rehabilitation, drug rehabilitation, refugees and NGO’s, where students can work during their course.

Through the practical training, as well as through the various activities that the Lab organises from time to time, we carry out significant social work with multiple benefits for the students, the University, and the community in general.

The MCCC Lab, together with Aiginiteion Hospital, is also actively engaged in the construction and future running of the New Student and Staff Unit for the Promotion of Care and Wellbeing, as responsible for wellbeing through art and academic (life) coaching.
